Purpose Statement

As a Data Analyst in the Credit team, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of our fixed and revolving loans products. You will collaborate with various teams, including marketing, finance, and risk management, to ensure the successful implementation and management of various initiatives that impact our clients and drive commercial growth. Your responsibilities will include analysing data points, reviewing behaviour change and presenting your findings to senior leaders in the organisation to ensuring profitability great customer service.

Experience

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of loan products

• Collaborate with Finance team to drive efficient pricing and profitability and Work with the finance team on budgeting and sales forecasting

• Coordinate with the decision science team on risk management

• Collaborate with marketing, client engagement and client insights to design the best journeys

• Analyse spend patterns and behaviour changes to ensure profitability

• Partner with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of initiatives

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor's Degree in Analytical/Data/Technical or Other

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Honours Degree in Analytical/Data/Technical or Other

Knowledge

• Advanced proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, optimizing query performance, and working with large datasets.
• Expertise in advanced Excel functions, including macros and VBA.
• Proficiency in creating advanced visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Advanced skills in Python or R, including data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy) and data visualization libraries (e.g., matplotlib, seaborn).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application in financial data analysis.
• Understanding of predictive analytics techniques and their application in financial analysis.
• Knowledge of data modelling techniques to structure and organize data effectively.
• Understanding of risk analysis methods and their application in financial services.
