Job Profile Overview
To manage and grow a defined portfolio of clients by executing relationship management strategies, delivering client-centric solutions and driving revenue, asset and liability growth through effective portfolio management and operational execution.
Are you someone who can:
- Manage and grow a defined client portfolio to achieve revenue growth, client retention and portfolio performance targets
- Drive asset growth by identifying lending opportunities and supporting credit solutions aligned to client needs
- Drive liability growth through client acquisition, retention and increased product utilisation
- Execute relationship management strategies and translate them into actionable client engagement and growth plans
- Identify and implement cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximise portfolio value and client profitability
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement, service delivery and tailored solutions
- Deliver high-quality client service aligned to defined service standards and value propositions
- Monitor portfolio performance including revenue, balances, utilisation and client activity and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Product and Operations teams to ensure effective delivery of integrated client solutions
- Manage client onboarding, servicing and retention activities to ensure portfolio sustainability and growth
- Resolve escalated client issues and ensure positive client experience and relationship continuity
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and risk frameworks across all client activities
- Prepare portfolio performance reports and insights to support decision-making and performance tracking
- Contribute to continuous improvement of client engagement processes and portfolio management practices
You will be an ideal candidate if you have:
- Relevant Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline
- Postgraduate qualification in a related field will be advantageous
- 4–6 years’ experience in banking, relationship management, sales or portfolio management environments of which 2-3 ideally on junior management level
