Coordinator: Research and Support
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
- Conduct research (including data collection), monitor and keep abreast of the payments landscape and best practices and analyse and report on these to inform the development of strategy, policy, regulations and rules.
Perform general administration in support of the division’s operations, including but not limited to managing internal records, processing documents and providing secretarial support for divisional meetings.
Assist the division in coordinating, tracking, updating and reporting on the budget, strategic and operational deliverables within the division’s work plan, in line with the National Payment System Department strategic scorecard.
Coordinate the development of divisional processes, procedure manual and service level commitments.
Coordinate, facilitate and manage internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with the establishment and operationalisation of working groups, forums and other relevant structures to support the division.
Support working groups, committees, forums and stakeholders by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, compiling and uploading meeting packs, recording minutes and action items and following up with relevant stakeholders.
Assist with the preparation, maintenance and updating the division’s publications and website.
Assist with collecting, coordinating and collating internal and external comments received from stakeholders on the division’s policy and regulatory instruments.
- Process and handle queries and disputes received by PRLD.
Facilitate and coordinate consumer awareness, education and capacity building programmes.
Assist with the alignment and formatting of survey templates and related information.
Obtain and consolidate input and feedback from internal and external stakeholders on surveys, policy and regulatory documents and draft standards.
Coordinate and assist with the process of gazetting the policy and regulatory instruments and documents.
Monitor, compile (e.g. lists and dashboards) and assess requests and complaints coming through to the division and respond and/or direct requests to relevant analysts and track the completion thereof.
Perform administrative duties on an ad hoc basis, as requested by the divisional head, in line with the division’s strategic and operational work plan.
