Job Purpose

To analyse, capture and highlight regulatory risk indicators related to high risk industries and trade due diligence in line with the groups standards to mitigate organisation industry risk.

Job Responsibilities

  • Highlight relevant risks pertaining to potential money laundering activities for high risk industries and trade due diligence in order to mitigate organisational and industry risk.
  • Review and assist clients with compiling regulatory questionnaires and supporting documentation to ensure compliance. 
  • Liaise with stakeholders and provide feedback on timelines and outcomes to enable efficient onboarding with minimal negative client impact.
  • Investigate alleged unusual and/or suspicious transactions on local accounts and cross boarder transactions to ensure reporting is submitted to the relevant committees to comply with the organisations standards.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements to ensure personal and professional growth and organisation value with emphasis on high risk Industries and trade due diligence.
  • Identify innovative solutioning opportunities to enhance processes, systems and policies to improve client efficiency.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Minimum Experience Level

  • Total number of years of experience:3-6 Years
  • Management experience as part of the above years:No experience required
  • Type of experience:AML (Anti Money Laudering), CFT (Combating of Finance Terrorist), Sanctions, High Risk Industries and Trade Due Diligence
